A Guide to Leeds’ Christmas Markets
Step into a winter wonderland at an old festive favourite, Leeds’ Christmas markets.
The most wonderful time of the year is here again, and you can get into the festive spirit at Leeds’ yearly German Christkindelmarkt.
Stroll around the charming wood cabins with a cup of warming gluhwein, and enjoy one of the biggest German-style markets in the country.
There are plenty of stores offering arts, crafts and festive goodies to inspire a few ideas for your Christmas shopping list, as well as plenty of pop-ups selling traditional German grub to tuck into as you meander around.
With over 40 stalls and a number of fairground rides for the kids, there’s plenty to keep you entertained.
After a hard day Christmas shopping, head over to Thor’s Tipi bar for a Scandinavian festive experience, enjoying a drink by the roaring fire.
Admission: Admission to the festive markets is free until Christmas Eve (10.30am to 9.30pm, except on Sundays when closing is 7.30pm).
