Tower of London
This castle is over 1000 years old, making it one of the most legendary attractions in London. The Tower of London has an incredible history, such as its time as a fortress for William the Conqueror, or when it held the most valuable jewels in the country in the 1800s. Sea Life, Westminster
Sea Life is home to one of Europe’s largest assortments of global marine life. Discover the hidden world under the sea by exploring the 28 different aquarium zones, such as the amazing glass shark walk or the coral reef cove. This aquarium has something for all the family, whether you’re interested in listening to deep sea tales, learning about conservation, or just want to look at the many fascinating sea creatures.

Natural History Museum, South Kensington
The Natural History Museum is an iconic building that houses over 80 million specimens. Not only does this museum have a wonderland of artefacts from millions of years ago, but they are continuously hosting new and exciting displays, such as the Museum of the Moon, or art exhibitions showing the best wildlife photography of the year. Permanent exhibits include dinosaur fossils, specimens from deep oceans and even answers about space. There is something to inspire anyone from childhood to adulthood. They even host a number of sleepovers for kids to explore the museum at night!

Visit the world’s oldest scientific zoo – and probably the most famous zoo too. Dating back to 1828, it now hosts over 750 species, and you will find over 17,000 animals to admire. Visit Gorilla Kingdom and see Kumbuka and his family of silverback gorillas at close quarters. They have their own island, gym and African rainforest. This activity is perfect for families with young kids, but also couples.

While there are wax museums across the world, Madame Tussauds in London is perhaps the most famous. With over 300 wax figurines, this museum brings to life the most iconic figures throughout history. You can take snaps with celebrities, your favourite superheroes and even look through the archives of some of the earliest wax figures ever made. Your family will take a trip through pop culture history with this fun day out!
