What’s On: Windsor Autumn Festival 2018
As summer draws to a close and the trees change from vibrant greens to dusty golds, celebrate the arrival of Autumn at Windsor’s Autumn Festival fortnight.
From Sunday 16 to Sunday 30 September, the royal city will transform into a festival of arts and creativity. Lauding both international and national talent, Windsor’s Autumn Festival contains two packed out weeks of art, music, talks, tours, exhibitions and more, available across the city centre.
For 2018, Autumn Festival is dedicated to two important centenaries; the end of the First World War and Women’s Suffrage. The events calendar for this year’s festival is centred around these two historic landmarks in the nation’s story.
The likes of popular author Michael Rosen and Shami Chakrabarti will be joined by a host of local talent for a festival line up that features something for all tastes. Explore wartime stories from the Great War, or savour the music of Beethoven with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
